The Heritopolis Project, Heritage and the Metropolis, is an initiative of a group of consortium organizations and professional experts from around the world, which has the support of UN-HABITAT METROHub (http://heritopolis.org). We are concerned about the role of cultural and natural heritage in the planning, design and management of 21st century metropolises. We want to promote a platform to stimulate exchanges and articulate innovative approaches, as a tool to promote sustainable development goals. This will provide, among other things, critical inputs for reporting and monitoring of the 2011 UNESCO Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDGs) and the New Urban Agenda.

The Heritopolis Researchers Forum proposes for this 2022, three bi-monthly Web Seminars, with keynote presentations, to present significant topics for the Heritopolis agenda. This first session will address the topic "Cultural and creative society for Metropolitan Heritage Sustainability" through a case study and two guest speakers.
