(past) The Power of Nature in Metropolitan Areas(2023.10.9-2023.10.10)

On October 9th and 10th, 2023, “The Power of Nature in Metropolitan Area” Special Activity for the World Metropolitan Day and Shanghai Urban Space Art Season 2023（Chongming Venue, co-organized by Tongji University's College of Architecture and Urban Planning, the Chongming Dongtan Nature Reserve Management Affairs Center of Shanghai, co-sponsored by the China Association of Ancient Sites and Monuments, and supported by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Asia-Pacific World Heritage Training and Research Center (Shanghai) and Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning & Design Institute Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Shanghai. This hybrid international conference (both face to face and online) serves as the first of four unique seminars under the theme "Urban Heritage" and is also a prelude to the 12th World Urban Forum, to be held in Cairo in November 2024, and the Global Solutions Conference for Large Cities, scheduled for Barcelona in 2025.
